‘Putting Practice Based Research into Action’

The focus of the conference will be the presentation of research and case studies which can inform day to day practice in relation to the inclusion and empowerment of people with disabilities. Interventions, programmes and projects across Europe that facilitate people with disabilities to participate in physical education, physical activity and sport need to be analysed and highlighted. Knowledge gained from successful research and case studies can guide future service delivery in the area of APA. Previous National Adapted Physical Activity conferences in Ireland have attempted to merge the academic and service delivery sectors.
